Reticulated polyester dry flow foam filter
Ninja Racing Capsule Filter uses reticulated polyester foam filtering element. Open cells in the foam allow maximum airflow with the least resistance. Air passes through the foam filter (not once, but 3 to 4 times) at a slightly irregular path, effectively trapping dust particles larger than 5 microns. Most importantly, it has the highest dust load up tolerance. The accumulated dust will not block the air passageway of the foam. This special dry flow foam is made of unique polyester foam. It needs no oiling between cleanings which can result in clogging the Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF) caused by oil traveling up the inlet. Ninja Racing Capsule Filter has a unique external air drawn construction. It is a combination of Short ram air intake and cold air intake system. Compressed air
The unique capsule design creates a difference in pressure zone when the air flows through the capsule filter. During acceleration, mass volume of air is sucked in from the capsule to the engine manifold. Air in the capsule (lower pressure zone) is being forced through the capsule neck (higher pressure zone). Causing a build-up of air pressure, air is compressed and rushed to the manifold at very high speed, in turn, providing more air to the combustion chambers.
